JP Recruitment is seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our dedicated logistics team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable driver looking for a stable, full-time permanent position within a reputable transport operation. You will be operating well-maintained equipment across the region, ensuring that all movements are completed efficiently and in compliance with road safety regulations. * Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles primarily hauling containers and curtain siders out of Liverpool. * Manage a consistent Monday to Friday day-shift pattern, providing a better work-life balance than traditional tramping roles. * Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety. * Maintain accurate electronic tachograph records and load documentation in line with legislative requirements. * Benefit from a secure, full-time permanent contract with a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum. To be successful, you must hold a valid Category C+E licence along with a current CPC and Digital Tachograph card. Requirements
* Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence. * Valid Driver CPC (Qualification Card) and Digital Tachograph card. * Proven experience operating Container and/or Curtain Sider vehicles. * No more than 6 penalty points on licence (for insurance purposes). * No active DR, DD, DG, or IN convictions. * Strong understanding of EU Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations. * High standards of vehicle care and professional road conduct. * Reliable, punctual, and flexible to meet daytime shift requirements. * Good communication skills and a professional approach when representing JP Recruitment.
