This policy explains what personal data YardIntel collects, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR.

1. What we collect

• Account details: name, email, date of birth, password (hashed).
• Profile details you add: bio, photo, experience, preferences.
• Location data when you use the map or turn on "Go Live".
• Content you post: reviews, photos, messages, applications.
• Device and log data for security and abuse prevention.

2. How we use it

To run the service, show nearby sites and jobs, deliver messages, prevent fraud, and improve the app. We only send marketing if you have opted in.

3. Sharing

Reviews, ratings and public profile fields are visible to other users. Organisations can see driver profiles that opt in to agency contact. We use trusted processors (hosting, payments, email, push) under data-processing agreements.

4. Retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active. After deletion we remove personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal reasons (for example finance records).

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to certain processing. Contact support in the app to make a request. You can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

6. Cookies & storage

We use essential storage to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Changes

If we materially change how we use your data we'll ask you to accept the updated policy before continuing.
